Hi, I'm Elsie. I'm the minister of Little Over Baptist Church. Memories are a strange thing. My husband can remember great detail about holidays we had 30 years ago. Yet, strangely enough, when it comes to my birthday or wedding anniversary, you can't remember that. We're going to be celebrating a special anniversary at our church next year. It's going to be 100 years since Violet Hedger, the first female Baptist minister, was inducted and ordained there. It's a time to remember and celebrate that God is good. We have a good God. Help us all to remember that in the hard days as well as the good days. Let's pray. Father God, we thank you. You're there with us every moment of every day. Thank you for significant moments. Thank you for ordinary moments. Father, help us to remember you in all things. Amen.
