Praying for Mission Forum - Sandra Crawford, Pioneer Minister 
 
 

 

Mission Forum recently took a resolution to Baptist assembly. It can be found on the Baptist Union website. The resolution came from a desire to focus on what unites us. Part of it says this, "Our mission is to passionately share the reason for the hope we have in Jesus with gentleness and respect and commit ourselves to service pursuing justice and caring for creation."


I'm going to pray with the using the words of a song by Andy Flanigan.

Let's pray.

We seek your kingdom throughout every sphere. We long for heaven's demonstration here. Jesus, your light shine bright for all to see. Transform, revive, and heal society. Peace, truth, and justice reigning everywhere with us. Be present in our public square. Fill all who lead with your integrity. Transform, revive, and heal society. Forgive us, Lord, when we have not engaged, failing to scribe your heart on history's page. Make us again what we were made to be. Transform, revive, and heal society.
