Prayer Reflection Video - 17 March 2025

A reflection and prayer from Alice Cheeseman, Moderator of the Digital Round Table

Would you spend a minute and pray with me?

I’m not sure about you, but as I look back over the start of 2025, it’s felt loud, hectic and at points overwhelming. The world has felt like a lot and at the centre the internet has been giving space for anyone and everyone to be heard. Opinions, cancel culture and more get thrown around on social media, and the digital world reflects the lack of peace.

But as Christians we have an opportunity to be good news and spread good news to everyone online.

Let’s pray.

Father thank you that you call us to go to all corners of the earth, to share your good news and thank you that this call can now be done by all of us here online.
Would you give us boldness with how we live our lives out online and would you let our social media and our digital lives reflect you with everyone we speak to.
Would you give us your ideas and vision to see how you’re calling us online as a Union, as churches, as individuals, to follow your call of mission and share your love on those online – the broken, the seeking, our friends and family.
Would your will be done online.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen
