A new music video featuring actors who have at some time been homeless premiered on Friday.

Street Life is the latest production from the Acting on Impulse, an associated ministry of Altrincham Baptist Church that works with socially excluded people.

It follows a group of characters from the streets as they paint a picture of what life is really like on the margins. The characters, concept and lyrics were developed through workshops.
The director was CBeebies' Joe Chambers and the video was produced by Lauren Pouchly with Salford film company Finite Productions.

Lauren, a member of Altrincham Baptist Church, said the aim of Acting on Impulse is to help build the self-esteem of those taking part, as well as highlighting issues around homelessness and marginalisation.

She describes Street Life as a 'mix of tongue in cheek action alongside genuine issues' - and hopes it will go viral.

More than 200 guests watched attended the screening and online launch at the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) in Manchester on Friday (14 June). It has already had close to 5,000 views.
