This is a really lovely book. From an unpromising childhood start, Richard Littledale has discovered a love of gardening, and the result is this book of 52 devotions which would be a great gift for someone who loves nature or gardens, or to buy to use as a devotional for yourself.

It is beautifully presented, hardcover and with illustrations throughout. Each devotion has a ‘tale’ from Richard’s experiences, a Bible reflection which helpfully includes the scriptures, and a pause for prayer including both helpful questions for reflection a written prayer.

There is much wisdom, poignancy and joy in its pages. Highly recommended.
