CMD Webinar - How can a learning community help me?

Wednesday 12 May 2021, 1pm.
Many of the challenges in ministry might be mitigated if every minister had an accountability partner - someone with whom they can share their journey. Some of us are fortunate enough to have a spiritual director, mentor or pastoral supervisor to turn to. But learning communities and huddles offer an alternative to this one-to-one approach, in which we instead meet and talk with a group of other ministers or church leaders, under the direction of an experienced colleague. In this webinar, we were joined by Mary Taylor and Alisdair Longwill, regional ministers with Yorkshire Baptist Association and West of England Baptists Network respectively, and Nike Adebajo, one of the pastors of Network Church, Sheffield. We talked through what learning communities and huddles look like and what we might gain from being part of either.

During the webinar, Mary Taylor mentions some of the learning communities run by Yorkshire Baptist Association. To find out more about the type of topics covered and over what time frame, you might like to have a look at their programme outline.
