'A bridge into your community with the Gospel'
The testimonies of Bear Grylls and Chris Pratt feature in the Easter issue of the Good News newspaper
Good News is an eight-page monthly evangelistic newspaper used by churches and missions across the country.
In the latest issue TV star Bear tells how he depends on the risen Christ’s presence with him. American actor Chris, one of the highest-grossing film stars of all time and star of new movie Mercy, shares how he experienced God’s mercy for his son.
The edition also has two dramatic testimonies of lives saved by God’s intervention at Easter time, while a Cambridge historian, formerly an atheist, explains why he is now convinced that Jesus is real and alive.
Good News is non-denominational and is edited by Andrew Halloway, a member of a Baptist church in Nottingham.
He said, ‘Good News is the ideal way to reach your community with the good news this Easter.
‘This low-cost, full-colour tabloid-style paper with testimonies of celebrities and ‘ordinary Christians’ is the UK’s leading monthly evangelistic newspaper.
‘The back page has space for your local contact details and invitation, and inside there is a guide to finding Jesus for those who want to make a commitment to Christ.
‘There is also a range of regular features like the film review, quick quiz, challenging sudoku, fun crossword and tasty recipe.
‘It's an ideal bridge into your community with the Gospel.’
