Annet-Ttendo Miller (known as Ttendo)

Gender Justice Co-ordinator, BMS World Mission

Ttendo is a Ugandan lawyer, a graduate of Makerere University, Kampala with a Masters in Human Rights and Constitutional Law from the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. In 2022 she was appointed as BMS World Mission’s first Gender Justice Co-Ordinator.

Ttendo is softly spoken but with real warrior spirit. Her own experience with gender-based violence (GBV) combined with surrendering to the path of God’s justice fuels her lifelong crusade against patriarchal structures. Ttendo is now based in UK, previously she has lived and worked in her Ugandan homeland, in Ethiopia and Mozambique.

Areas of expertise: gender injustice, GBV, legal rights (or lack of) for women across the globe
