Sam Chaise
Head of Help for the Journey, BMS World Mission
English-born to Indian parents and brought up in Canada, before joining BMS, Sam headed up the Christie Refugee Welcome Centre in Canada for five-and-a-half years. That followed his time as Executive Director of Canadian Baptist Ministries from 2010 to 2015 and before that Sam was a pastor, worship leader, church planter and businessperson. His interests range from how the gospel interacts with culture, to how economic and social systems nourish abundant human living.
Sam is now based in Lille, France and is heavily plugged in to the ever-turbulent European migrant/refugee networks.
Areas of expertise: refugees in a North American and European context, leadership in Christian and secular contexts, intercultural mission.
