Legal Services Manager

£45,000 per annum, full time role, hybrid working.
 
The Baptist Union of Great Britain (BUGB) is looking for a new Legal Services Manager to provide legal services and support to our 1,800 churches, associations and colleges across England and Wales. This is a great opportunity to bring together your professional skills and experience and your Christian faith.
Based in our Didcot offices, this varied role will manage a legal team of 8 people including Solicitors, Paralegals, and Administrative colleagues, covering a range of issues from property, data protection, charity law and governance,
We are seeking an experienced solicitor who has the intellectual agility to work across all these areas, together with the interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with colleagues and churches across our Baptist movement. You will have excellent management skills and the ability to coach and encourage a talented and capable team.
The nature of the role means that there is an occupational requirement for the postholder to be a practising Christian, and to be committed to a servant leadership approach to working with our teams and churches.
