BUild celebration is cancelled

Organisers of the celebration lunch and thanksgiving service for BUild have cancelled due to a lack of interest

BUild2The Baptist Union initiative with people with learning disabilities (BUild) announced earlier this year that it is drawing to a close. A lunch and thanksgiving service had been due to take place on 24 September.

However, this has now been cancelled. Organisers intend now intend to bring BUild to a close sometime early in the new year.

BUild was started by Baptists in 1983 concerned about how their Churches could make the love of Christ known to people with learning disabilities, and how to include them more fully in their life, worship and activities.
