parkrun

parkrunThe organisation ‘parkrun’ is all about inclusiveness and wellbeing with the mission to create a healthier, happier planet. They also want to bring together as many people as possible to feel part of a real local community brought together. It is family friendly, and all ages and abilities are welcomed.

On the Saturday morning of Baptist Assembly, we are hoping to support the Telford parkrun which happens next to the Telford International Centre.

Important information for delegates wanting to take part in the parkrun

If you have ordered a t-shirt we hope to provide yours when you pick up your lanyard at the centre. A donation of £10 is suggested to help us cover cost - and can be paid at the Assembly Registration Desk.

Our takeover will involve offering blessings of cake, drink, and art supplied by Chris Duffett (who will be in attendance) at the finish area. We will set up two tables and offer our blessings to finishers with an optional donation to Telford Crisis Support. The cake and drinks will be supplied by us. Mike Lowe and Chris Duffett will be there on the day, and you are welcome to join them.
