Safeguarding Lead (Part-time) 
 

The Yorkshire Baptist Association is seeking a part-time Safeguarding Lead to work within our Team. This role with its focus on excellence in safeguarding will make a significant contribution to our vision of ‘making disciples by multiplying healthy churches across Yorkshire’.

This is a new role; previously safeguarding has come under the oversight of our Regional Team Leader with support from the BUGB National Team. The decision to appoint a safeguarding specialist comes in response to an increasing number of requests for support from our member churches and ministers, alongside a recognition of the importance of good safeguarding practises in our shared life together.

This is a flexible part-time role, with the successful applicant being able to work from our office in Leeds or from home. Hours will generally be contained within office hours although some evening and weekend work may be required.
