Find out here the exciting things God has been doing within and among 18 - 35 year olds in our Baptist family, and what might be coming next, as we grapple with the urgent need to serve this missing generation through our ministry and mission.

We are also delighted to share the Internship Best Practice Handbook. This handbook provides guidance on how best to host interns in churches, from the discernment process through to the practicalities. It also contains templates for an internship role profile, volunteer agreement and code of conduct, among other resources.

Young Adults Round Table (YART)

The Young Adults Round Table (YART) is made up of representatives from around our Baptist family who have a regional or association responsibility for the age group of 18-35s. There is a mix of 18-35s and practitioners in the group. YART meets in person in the Spring and Autumn and online in the Summer and Winter.

The distinctive purpose of the YART is four-fold as we reflect on what God is doing through 18-35s ministries on a national basis. Our aims are:

To take initiative in speaking into our Union’s vision, culture and priorities, to inspire, develop and encourage 18-35s initiatives, ministry and mission across Baptists Together
To support, release, encourage and nurture 18-35s and those working with 18-35s, by advocating for suitable resourcing, training, inclusion and leadership opportunity.
To initiate, explore share or signpost relevant 18-35s research and/or develop strategic plans in response to research, as appropriate.
To speak clearly into the life of Baptists Together at national and regional levels, effecting influence and change, in order to ensure our ministry and mission with and among 18-35s is fruitful.

The group is coordinated and led by the Core Group - Femi Onanuga (LB), Naomi Fennel (YBA), Jonny Hirst (NWBA, Council and Core Leadership Team rep) and Isabella Senior.
