Baptist Times News Round-up - 22 January 2025
Welcome to the Baptist Times News Round-up for January, the first of the year, and the first since November. This makes it something of a bumper edition, in part because of the number of baptism stories you've shared. All very encouraging, and if you would also like to share news of a recent baptism in a future Round-up, please contact me via this form.
Wednesday sees the first national prayer broadcast of the year, where General Secretary Lynn Green will lead us in a time of prayer from the meeting of the Core Leadership Team at 7.30pm. Access via this YouTube link, and read more from Lynn about her calling of our movement to a continued commitment to prayer in the year ahead.
Last week saw a statement on the announcement of a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, which can be accessed here. This latest Round-up also carries links to a range of national and local stories, plus further reflections and features.
Every blessing,
Paul Hobson
