Books by Seidel Abel Boanerges
Holistic Apologetics: Re-Imagining Apologetics for the 21st Century (Whitley Lecture)
Publisher: Independently published (Whitley Publications: Regent's Park College) - 4 February 2025
RRP: £5.00
In this lecture, Seidel reimagines apologetics through the concepts of the kingdom of God and missio Dei. He argues that contemporary apologetics must transcend its intellectual aspects to include and actively promote the apologetic value of spiritual apologetics (healing, miracles, and prophecy) alongside artistic apologetics (literature, painting, drama, and film) and action-oriented apologetics (combating injustice, solidarity, and compassion). This book is intended for the local church and theological colleges/seminaries. The aim of this book is to make apologetics accessible to all and to encourage every believer that they too can become an apologist!

Intercultural Preaching
Publisher: Independently published
RRP: £15.00
Our churches in Britain today are becoming increasingly multicultural. This will be for some both a delight and a challenge not least for those called to preach inside them. Whether we like it or not it, this is a reality with which the church must engage. It is a challenge to our understanding of mission in Britain.
Intercultural Preaching consists of a series of essays in which scholars and practitioners, ministers, and lay people, all of whom are preachers, share their insights on the joys and challenges of preaching in diverse contexts. This is a practical resource for those charged with preaching the word of God to God’s people in changing and complex times. The book also includes sample sermons as examples of sermons preached in multicultural contexts.
The book was edited by Seidel along with Anthony G. Reddie, Director of the Oxford Centre for Religion and Culture in Regent’s Park College and Pamela Searle, minister of Sutton Baptist Church in London.
