Share Christmas with J John
This year Christmas will be different from any Christmas we have ever experienced before. It is wonderful to see churches commence ‘live’ services but with continued social restrictions it is good that live-streaming continues to give accessibility to many more people at home.
We may be in the midst of a global pandemic, but we Christians will celebrate the coming of Jesus Christ into the world as our Saviour. In his ministry, the Revd Canon J John has found Christmastime to be the most fruitful season of the year as both the ‘fringe’ and ‘beyond the fringe’ show more interest in Jesus Christ than at any other time of the year.
This year, he is offering to preach an evangelistic Christmas message in every church that would like him to. He will record a 28-minute talk entitled ‘Christmas Unwrapped’ which will include the opportunity to receive the gift of Christmas – Jesus Christ – with a prayer of commitment. The talk can be broadcast on any Sunday in December and as many times as required.
Should you choose to join this ‘Christmas Unwrapped’ initiative of bringing the good news of Jesus Christ to as many people as possible this Christmastime, you will be sent you a number of items which you can choose to use in your online service:
-
A Christmas message, recorded in a new purpose-built TV studio.
-
A Bible reading by Sir David Suchet.
-
What Christmas means to me, by Sir Cliff Richard.
-
A recorded Christmas song from Matt Redman.
-
An animated re-telling of the Christmas Story for children.
-
Social media graphics which you can use to promote the Christmas service.
The resources are available free of charge, but any donations to help cover costs will be gratefully received. 20 per cent of any gift received will be donated to
