Longest-serving treasurer?

Colin Dymock300Gas Green Baptist Church in Cheltenham has thanked Mr Colin Dymock who has retired after serving for 58 years as its Church Treasurer. We wonder whether this is a record within Baptist circles?

To mark the occasion last Sunday (5 July) Mr Dymock, who is a steam railway enthusiast, was presented with a voucher for his wife and himself for a day out on a steam railway, including lunch in a luxury dining car.

He was also given a suitably engraved model of the "Flying Scotsman" engine.

Revd Jim Clarke,  Minister Gas Green Baptist Church
