Churches and missions use over 63,000 copies of Good News every month, and the team behind the paper expect that number to rise significantly for the special Olympics issue as many churches are planning Olympic outreaches, particularly in the London area.

The July issue will feature a special Olympics pull-out featuring an interview with Britain’s only defending track-and-field champion – 400m runner Christine Ohuruogu – plus the testimonies of Britain’s double Olympic silver medallist Debbie Flood (rower), Olympic silver medallist Phillips Oduwu (triple jumper) and many more.

Good News is a tabloid-style full-colour newspaper. It costs 14p per copy (plus p&p) however many copies are ordered.

Editor Andrew Halloway, a member of New Life Baptist Church in West Bridgford, Nottingham, said, ‘It’s great to see that British Olympians like Christine and Debbie are willing to be so public about their faith, and we’re pleased that thousands of non-Christians will be seeing their testimonies in Good News.’

Free samples of the current Good News are available, or the July issue can be ordered on 0115 9377476 or 0115 9233424. The last date for July orders is 31 May.
