For Baptist Assembly 2020, we are working on bringing you an exciting programme which combines some of the old with the new. The event is being held over the weekend of 8-10 May at Bournemouth International Centre and the outline for the weekend is below. More detailed content will be added as soon as it is available.

Friday Evening – A “Looking Back” Celebration giving the opportunity to look back and give thanks for the last year, including the In Memoriam commemoration. Our keynote speaker Shane Claiborne will give his opening address, with worship being led by Lou Fellingham. We will also acknowledge VE day during this session.

Saturday - Network Day Building on the huge success of last year’s Networking Zone, the Windsor Hall will host a dynamic, inspiring and vibrant space aimed at equipping local churches and leaders for mission. This is an excellent opportunity to speak to a variety of organisations who will be sharing their activities with Assembly attendees.
The day will also offer a full and varied Seminar Programme, utilising the various suites across the venue. A full programme will be posted on this website once it is finalised.

Saturday Evening - A time of Celebration including the commissioning of those recently recognised as Fully Accredited Ministers, Pastors, Preachers and Mission Personnel. Shane Claiborne will address Assembly as keynote speaker.

Sunday - Discerning, Reflecting and Worshipping Together as we look forward. This will include the BUGB AGM, BMS Update, Communion and induction of Yinka Oyekan as the new president, together with Shane Claiborne’s final address.
