Assisted dying raises profound ethical, theological, medical and pastoral questions. The resources below offer a range of perspectives and approaches to help individuals and churches explore the issues further.
Some of these resources were produced during consideration of previous assisted dying bills. Where this is the case, we have indicated the context in which they were written. While the parliamentary context may have changed, many of the theological, ethical, medical and pastoral questions they explore remain relevant.
Some of the organisations linked below actively campaign for or against a change in the law; their resources should be read with that context in mind.
