The following video gives a snapshot into what has been happening at Westbourne Park Baptist Church and Pastor Jem Sewell adds, ‘Westbourne Park Baptist Church in Paddington has a rich history and a vibrant present! We are very varied as a group of people; where we were born, our ages, our colour and our preferences, but as Paddington Bear once wisely said, "Because we are all different, anyone can fit in..." About 20 years ago we realised our building was not fit for purpose and at times actually hindered our mission. After very many ups, downs and false starts we opened a brand new facility (Church, halls, kitchen and offices along with 33 affordable units of accommodation) debt free – God has been very good indeed’.
