Tricia McIlroy is a Senior Accredited Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Supervisor with BACP and has been supervising Counsellors since 1992. She trained in theology in the 60s and has been married to Bill, a Baptist Minister, for 51 years, so she has personal experience of ministry. Tricia has been Course Leader and Tutor in Counselling at Spurgeon’s College for many years. In addition, she is now Course Leader and Tutor on the Professional Certificate in Pastoral Supervision there and has a growing practice offering Pastoral Supervision to Ministers and leaders in other professions. After many years, Spurgeon’s let her loose on some of the Ministerial students and Newly Accredited Ministers to teach them about self-care which she has found very rewarding.
Tricia served as a member of the Steering Group of the CMCS for 10 years and we are delighted that she has agreed to provide this training for us.
