Anna Ratcliff is a Baptist Minister of 14 years currently working as a Nottingham Trent University Chaplain for students and staff and as a Black Theology Lecturer. Anna is from a Caribbean heritage with over 20 years professional Equality and Diversity experience - which is her passion and life-long focus. Anna has worked effectively as Racial Justice Adviser, Strategic Community Liaison, Equality Consultant and Trainer, Deputy Warden of a hostel for young women at risk and their children, Employment Team Leader and Woman Police Officer. Anna holds an MA in Black Theology from Birmingham University and a BD (Hons) in Theology at Spurgeon’s College. She has contributed to public debate and published poetry on the experience of adoption, served as Vice Chair to Nottingham City Council’s Adoption panel, taught on Nottingham's Black Teacher taster ‘access to teaching’ course and contributed to Nottingham's Black student achievement awards. Anna is currently a member of EMBA Safeguarding Advisory and training team and a member of BUGB Racial Justice Group.
