Annual Returns Forms

We have made two significant changes to the Annual Returns process this year. Firstly we’ve changed the timing and so Church Secretaries will receive the forms towards the end of August. This means that the “annual count of people attending worship” will now need to be done in September rather than December - but you will be able to do it on any normal Sunday in September.
The second change is that they will now be sent direct from Baptist House and should be returned to Baptist House rather than your local Association. A stamped addressed envelope will be included for you to use. The main reason for this changes is our desire to ensure that the information in the BUGB directory is as accurate and up-to-date as possible. Annual Return Forms will need to be returned to us by the 5th October - any forms not returned by then may result in a ‘0’ being entered instead of the correct figures for membership, number of children etc. in the directory. All this information - and more - will be sent to Church Secretaries with the forms towards the end of August.
