Jon Spiller celebrates 25 years

Jon Spiller300Jon Spiller is celebrating 25 years of working as Manager at Baptist House, home to the BMS World Mission head office and the three specialist teams of the Baptist Union of Great Britain. Jon was honoured for his long service at a special staff coffee on Wednesday morning (1 October).
 
David Nixon, Non-Executive Director of Baptist House for 25 years who first found the building in Didcot, commented: “It has been a great pleasure to work with Jon over these last 25 years.

"He has always been assiduous in all the duties that he has performed. He has had to balance the various needs of the Baptist Union of Great Britain, The Baptist Times and BMS World Mission, and has always provided a warm welcome to the many visitors from the Baptist family both in the UK and around the world.”
 
Before joining Jon spent more than 14 years with his family in the Congo, Africa including service as a missionary with BMS World Mission.

David Locke, Finance Director and Team Leader Support Services for our Baptist Union, who is also the Operations Director at Baptist House, said: “This is a terrific achievement for Jon. 

"He has been a real blessing to us all and the way that Baptist House continues to be in excellent condition and has flexed to new requirements is a testimony to his leadership, professionalism and commitment.”
